Since OHIP does not cover Homeopathic services, you family physician's referral is not required. Should you need an appointment, please feel free to call Dr. Caraman directly at 416-730-9768. Please leave a message with both work and home numbers and he will call you back as soon as possible.

Appointments can not be made via email, as the doctor must talk to you for a brief assessment - at no charge - in order to discern if your problem can be treated homeopathically.

Follow-up appointments are initially scheduled two to four weeks later. As improvement is noted, the interval between appointments is progressively lengthened. The ultimate goal is the lasting restoration of health free from dependency on any form of treatment.

In Homeopathic Medicine practice we attempt to be highly cost effective and keep visits to a minimum. It is not unusual for a patient to have only a couple of visits, with an initial interview and one or two follow-up visits.


Insurance

Homeopathy, like other specialized medical services, is not an insured service under the public Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

However, most private health insurance plans provide at least some coverage for Homeopathic Medicine consultations. In many cases the coverage is very limited. We strongly recommend you contact your insurance company regarding the type, amount, and duration of homeopathic coverage you have.

In the absence of insurance coverage the homeopathic services would be a privately paid expense. The fees are tax deductible as a medical expense.
